At a distance, it seemed rather trite, almost silly in the surrounding hellscape. Certainly, it wasn't one of the hellish machinations one would expect to find here. Closer inspection was prone to changing one's opinion, however.
The creatures that adorned this carousel thrashed and writhed, bellowed and howled, obviously quite alive. Their eyes shone with wild hatred, their twisted bodies struggling to escape the poles that impaled them, and their mouths dripped with their own blood. Surely, any mortal seated upon this ride--or even daring to stand too close--would be devoured by the angry beasts.
So, like, fullview, yo. There's an ASSLOAD OF DETAIL in this thing. >.< Worked on it forever, and I'm rather glad that I didn't make it any bigger. I'm also rather proud of the concept and the fact that I finished it and didn't leave out anything that I had originally planned to put in it. So, I give you: The Infernal Carousel.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
